Barrells 100% Your Electric Store

The business specialised in sale and repair of Radios and Televisions. Over the years the company moved to Rathbone Street and in 1984 was purchased by Gary and Daphne Peterken, the name then became Barrells Radiovision.

Through the eighties the business steadily grew and specialised in sales of Televisions, Video Cameras, Home Audio and Car Audio. In 1990 We opened Pacific Radiovision in Cameron Street, this new larger store enabled the business to expand in more specialised areas such as high end separate component home audio.

In 1995 Barrells Radiovision moved location to Okara drive, this also brought a name change to Barrells 100% YES (Your Electric Store). This store enabled us to have a wide range of all products, including Fisher & Paykel Whiteware and a wide range of Computers. Soon after opening the Okara drive store the staff from Pacific Radiovision moved to the Okara Drive store to complete a specialised sales team.

In December 2002 Barrells 100% YES moved to our brand new Mega Store, in the Tarewa Mega Centre, nearly 3 times the size of our Okara drive store, this new store provides the ultimate shopping experience, with a massive range of top branded products.
